THIS IS TRULY CREDITED TO A CONSOLIDATED EFFORT FROM ALL LEVELS AND ASSOCIATES THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY.
"..I credit Joan's teaching style and knowledge as getting the required buy-in from departments other than just quality for the HACCP program implementation."
C. Rhodes, Corporate Quality Assurance Manager, Fort Dearborn Company
THE ACTION
Fort Dearborn already had well-established practices that aligned with product food safety requirements, they just needed to spotlight this.
The approach was to leverage the skills, systems and processes in place and develop a strong HACCP Program to be incorporated into their unified Quality Management System at all the plants. Through the training sessions, we had representation from all of the functional departments and focused on how their roles in the business complimented the overall success of the program. The outcome established a blueprint for quality and product safety compliance at all plants.
Maintaining high-quality standards and achieving global recognition is FDC’s commitment to continuous improvement and serving their customers.
